In the heart of Umbria, in Torgiano, in the hamlet of Brufa, on a hill overlooking Perugia, Assisi, Spello and Foligno, stands the Borgobrufa SPA Resort. Peace and harmony, tradition and typical Umbrian cordiality, but also luxury, comfort and well-being: these are the characteristics that distinguish the Resort’s offer, completely renovated respecting the original rural architecture.

The panorama is an element that also characterizes the hotel’s 50 rooms, all with balconies or patios that allow contact with Umbrian nature.

The rooms and suites, depending on the choice, are furnished according to the typical Umbrian tradition, with exposed beams, terracotta or parquet. The suites are all elegant and exclusive, consisting of bedroom and living room, two bathrooms, bathroom with Jacuzzi, some with refined period furniture, others with romantic four-poster bed, others with suggestive fireplace.

The wellness center is the spearhead of the Resort. This is the largest wellness center in Umbria, over 1,200 square meters with exclusive rooms, personalized treatments, natural products and brands of the highest quality.

The guest who stays at Borgobrufa SPA Resort takes a journey of the senses moving between suggestive and charming environments: the world of water “Arc en Ciel”, the world of saunas “Il Tempio delle Voci” and the romantic Private Spa for the couple .

In the proposed treatments, individual or couple, are used natural products of own production, such as olive oil and wine, or local products, such as typical Umbrian chocolate.

The extra-virgin olive oil and the fine wines, both produced in the nearby land owned by the Sfascia farm, are also fully included in the cuisine of the Borgobrufa SPA Resort.

Even the culinary experience is lived in the exclusivity of the environments, different depending on the time of day and needs. The ‘Quattro Sensi’ restaurant is the main room, where the breakfast buffet is served, elegant and refined, with attention to the smallest details. Dinner is served instead in the panoramic terrace, covered and air-conditioned, but with breathtaking views of Assisi and Perugia, ideal for romantic candlelit dinners while, for special events, you can choose the elegant room with fireplace Tempio del Gusto .

The top is definitely represented by the Imperial Suite which includes an infrared sauna and a private heated swimming pool.

To ensure a holiday of maximum relaxation and to fully enjoy the silence and peace of our structure, from 7 January 2015 Borgobrufa SPA Resort will welcome guests over the age of 15 years.

A true oasis for the bien vivre but also an ideal destination for those looking for a place surrounded by greenery but at the same time convenient to reach the most important Umbrian cities of art, for those who love the quiet countryside and the style of the ancient village, but does not want to give up luxury and comfort. With the beautiful season you can appreciate the many proposals that the area offers for a holiday in contact with nature. From the village you can take trails for walking or mountain biking, in the vicinity there are two golf courses and just two kilometers from the Resort a horse riding center.

Along the roads leading to the Resort and in the village of Brufa there are numerous sculptures of contemporary art, among which the most famous is “Broken Circle” by the artist Beverly Pepper. It is an initiative of the Pro Loco di Brufa that every year, in August, adds a work of art.

From the Resort you can easily reach the cities of Perugia, Assisi, Spello in maximum 15 minutes, Todi, Spoleto, Gubbio, Lake Trasimeno and Orvieto in just over 30 minutes.
